ART-GALLERY
Purelines is born with the firm purpose of supporting integrity and creative uniqueness, inviting our artists to go beyond mere pictorial representation and embark on a journey of semantic transformation that allows us to reflect on the variation of visual meaning. This process is an exchange with the viewer, akin to osmosis with nature.
Our gallery is a space of limitless freedom and creativity, where every visitor becomes a conspirator and collaborator in the reinterpretation of visual meaning. Join us and let yourself be enveloped by the dynamic power of artistic experimentation and, with the piece of art you choose to coexist with.
Pablo Azar, a Mexican-American artist and actor based in Los Angeles, California, has left an indelible mark on television series and movies over his more than 15-year career. However, his quest for a more personal and profound means of expression led him to experiment with the world of painting.
A unique painting style with a universe of vibrant colors brings to life whimsical, unusual, and witty creatures that join the composition, inviting the viewer to explore a new, timeless dimension directly related to the innocence of childhood. His work is configured like a puzzle, whose enchanted pieces surprisingly fit together in a joyful and fun puzzle that encourages the viewer to reconnect with their inner child.
Pablo's work transcends age and time, making us smile with simple yet powerful messages related to love, innocence, and happiness. He has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world: the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Qatar, the Netherlands, and South Korea. He has also worked on public art projects, beautifying cities with murals, decorated hydrants, and utility boxes.
At Purelines, we are very proud to collaborate with Pablo Azar, showcasing and selling his magnificent work.
Chile, Mexico, Barcelona. Film director, documentarian, and illustrator. Fate revealed his talent as an illustrator in 2021, when after a phone call during which he had been doodling on a sheet, only to crumple it up and throw it away, his partner retrieved the crumpled paper from the wastebasket and, looking at the drawing, said, "you're crazy, Ricardo, how could you throw this away?"
At that very moment, the artist, detached from himself, regained awareness - the awareness of his hand - to transcend it and vehemently state that it's moved by his brother, a talented painter who passed away prematurely at the age of 32.
"Get over the line" is a collection of works by Ricardo House inspired by the sea, serving as a metaphor for a vibrant and energetic pictorial ensemble. It's a space shaped by vastness, exile, and human dispersion. The uniqueness of his work lies in that bold and continuous stroke, an allegory of boundaries and separation. Within his lines, we can perceive constant movement and fluidity, evoking these displacements - a central axis of his work, depicted in a modern manner with remarkable technical and stylistic freshness.
House, with his dynamic, unpredictable, and gestural strokes, invites us to reflect on the challenges and hopes of those forced to leave their land. The carefully balanced composition shows us how, despite distance and cultural differences, there is an intrinsic connection among all human beings.
